WELCOME

Kildrummy Kennel was officially established in 1970.  I named my kennel after I visited Kildrummy Castle and Kildrummy Inn while touring Scotland.  

I had already purchased my first Sheltie, "Missy," by this time. "Missy" introduced me to conformation shows in Montreal and Ontario. Obedience quickly followed and, by now thoroughly smitten with this wonderful breed, I carefully selected a stud for Missy.  This breeding produced "Tommy," a very special boy indeed, who became my "hearing dog" (I am hearing deficit).  

Since then dogs have become my constant companions. I still enjoy showing my own and others' dogs in conformation and obedience.  I  also have a small boarding kennel attached to my home. My boarding facility is air-conditioned in summer/heated in winter and has individual indoor and outdoor covered runs.  

I start showing in the Maritimes in March and go through October. I enjoy handling many breeds, as well as Shelties. Dogs travel with me in air-conditioned comfort.
